Since 1981, Wielkopolska has proudly shared the beauty of Polish folk culture with audiences across Australia. This vibrant group performs a stunning repertoire of national and regional dances, from lively, energetic steps to elegant, graceful movements—all in richly detailed, colourful costumes that reflect Poland’s heritage. Made up of children, youth and young adults aged 7 to 26, Wielkopolska is a regular feature at ACT events and will soon perform at PolArt, the largest Polish arts festival outside Poland. Their performances are a joyful celebration of tradition, community and cultural pride—an experience not to be missed.
