BESEDA - Authentic Delicious Czech and Slovak Food
Try the very best of Czech Repulbic and Slovakian cuisine— bramboráky, potato pancakes, with a variety of toppings together with Czech or Slovak beer. The history of beer in the Czech Republic is as old as the nation itself. Brewing can be traced back to the early Slavic settlers, who cultivated hops and brewed beer as a staple drink. For Czechs, beer is not just a drink, it’s a cultural emblem. The Czech beer is characterized by a pleasant bitterness and just the right bite. A moderate beer consumption has been associated with certain health benefits. Czechs often tout the beverage’s nutritional value, emphasizing its vitamin B content and antioxidants. Furthermore, the low alcohol content in Czech beers, typically around 4%, allows for moderate consumption without excessive intoxication.
