The Doton stall brings a smaller version of this iconic district to the festival, reflecting Japan’s passionate street food culture and the excitement of Dotonbori. Celebrating the fusion of cultures, Doton proudly introduces Rice Burgers, a unique twist on the classic hamburger with compressed rice patties instead of traditional buns. Alongside this, festival-goers can indulge in Gyoza, pan-fried Japanese dumplings, Takoyaki, delicious batter balls filled with octopus, and Daifuku, sweet mochi rice cakes filled with sweetened bean paste. With strong cultural ties between Australia and Japan, Japanese food has become a popular cuisine in Australia, and Doton brings its dedication and craftsmanship to every dish.
