Macau Sweet Street Bites brings the best of traditional Macau street flavours and innovative desserts, offering a unique culinary experience. Specialising in freshly made Crispy Sugar Coated Fruit Sticks and Pom Pom Egg Waffles, the stall delights festival-goers with its vibrant and fresh offerings. Ministerial Advisory Committee for Multiculturalism


The Ministerial Advisory Council for Multiculturalism (MACM) is a community advisory group which represents people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds who call Canberra home. The committee works with peak bodies and community groups, providing advice to the Minister for Multicultural Affairs on ways to: promote multiculturalism and be a welcoming and inclusive city; welcome and include migrants, refugees and asylum seekers; help people from diverse backgrounds access services. Talk with representatives about their roles, your experiences in multicultural Canberra and the committee's purpose.

Mr Papa - Peruvian Street Food


Over 12,000 kilometres away from Canberra’s orderly streets, in the vibrant markets of Lima, Peru, Mr. Papa was born. Since 2013, Mr Papa has been a proud, and popular, participant in the National Multicultural Festival. The menu offers the best bites of Lima including the Pork Belly ‘Chanchito’ and handmade empanadas, complemented by a special Pisco Bar featuring Peru’s national drink in a variety of unique cocktails—available exclusively at this event. It’s the closest you’ll get to Lima, Peru—without catching a plane.

Mt Taylor Scouts Gelato


The Mt Taylor Scouts are excited to bring Australia’s most awarded gelato, Pure Gelato, to this year's festival. Visitors can enjoy gelato in cups or cones, with dairy-free, gluten-free, egg-free, and nut-free options available. A selection of flavours will be on offer, including favourites like chocolate, tiramisu, pistachio, mango, and lemon. Just as gelato-making in Italy is a skill passed down through generations, Scouting shares a vision of empowering youth to develop skills in leadership, citizenship, and self-confidence that shape their futures. Scouting engages more than 57 million young people worldwide, including over 70,000 Scouts in Australia, with 2,300 in the ACT alone, representing diverse cultures—including Italy, the home of gelato. Participating in the National Multicultural Festival allows Scouts to develop new skills and connect with Canberra’s multicultural community. Visit the MTC Australia stall to find out more about the Skills for Education & Employment (SEE) Program. The Program helps people overcome language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills barriers to help them get the training they need to achieve their goals, secure sustainable employment or undertake further education and training. The Program is available to Australian citizens, permanent visa holders, those on a provisional or temporary visa with working rights and eligible for the Adult Migrant English Program, as well as Pacific Australian Labour Mobility visa holders.
