Register to be a Volunteer Hub Assistant
This role is based in the central Volunteer Hub, near the reception of the Theo Notaras Multicultural Centre. You’ll ensure that volunteers are well-supported throughout their shifts by helping to distribute gear like radios, water, and sunscreen as well as assist with volunteer check-ins and shift transitions. The Volunteer Hub serves as a key coordination point, and you’ll be integral to maintaining smooth operations.
Accessibility
This is an indoor, air-conditioned role where you will be stationed in the Volunteer Hub for the duration of your shift, with chairs and tables provided.
Responsibilities
- Help manage the Volunteer Hub as the central coordination point.
- Provide direction, information, and support to fellow volunteers.
- Ensure the Volunteer Hub is consistently stocked with water.
- Assist in organising volunteer assignments and shifts.
- Address any issues or concerns raised by volunteers.
