The Multicultural Tasting Trail is a curated tasting experience featuring a limited number of participating stalls. It is a self-guided food experience that encourages festival‑goers to explore flavours from across cultures in an accessible and engaging way.
Stallholders who choose to participate offer a small tasting plate that showcases their cuisine. This allows visitors to try a range of foods and discover new flavours without committing to a full meal.
This initiative is designed to highlight cultural diversity, increase stall visitation, and create a shared experience that benefits both visitors and stallholders.
How the Tasting Trail works
- Participating stalls will offer a dedicated tasting plate, curated specifically for the Tasting Trail.
- The tasting plate must be priced between $8–$12 (maximum cap $12) to keep the experience affordable and encourage people to visit multiple stalls.
- Each participating stall will be clearly identified through Tasting Trail signage and included on festival maps and promotional materials so festival‑goers can easily spot Trail offerings.
- The Tasting Trail will be promoted through the festival’s marketing channels encouraging visitor engagement.
