The Almas Latinas Choral group is a vibrant ensemble of Latin American women and one precious man who sing and dance with passion. They began their journey on August 17, 2020 and since then they have joyfully shared their music and stories with the Canberra Community. Their performances are vibrant, filled with rhythm and exciting melodies from all over Latin America. Three members of the group play various instruments, including two ukuleles, charango, guitar, cajon and various percussion. The result is a show full of fun and energy, inspiring the audience to join in signing along to popular choruses and clapping to the rhythms. It’s a brilliant celebration of Latin American Culture.
