The Bolivia Marka dancers are a group of fun-loving passionate people who have diverse cultural backgrounds, including Bolivia, Peru, Chile and Australia. The group is united by their shared passion of Bolivian music and dance. The folkloric music and dances of Bolivia originate from a variety of regions throughout the country, each representing a unique cultural story. Bolivia Marka Dance group perform dances from the UNESCO renown Carnaval de Oruro, which is the largest cultural celebration in Bolivia. Formed in 1999, The Bolivia Marka dance group has a long and colourful history cementing their reputation as being one of the most authentic folkloric groups in Australia.
