Borobudur Dance Troupe is a traditional Indonesian dancing troupe based in Canberra. The Troupe was founded by Ifa Barry in 2018 to preserve and share Indonesia?s rich and diverse culture and dancing traditions with the ACT and NSW. The Troupe performs at various events such as multicultural festivals, formal Indonesian Embassy occasions and other community gatherings across the ACT and NSW. Ifa teaches Canberrens traditional dances from various islands across the Indonesian archipelago. The Troupe is named after Borobudur Temple, an Indonesian icon and the world's largest Buddhist temple located in Central Java.
