Volunteers

Join the team that makes the magic happen

The National Multicultural Festival wouldn’t be possible without the energy, passion, and dedication of our incredible volunteers.

Each year, hundreds of enthusiastic volunteers help bring the festival to life — supporting performers and stallholders, assisting with event logistics, welcoming visitors, and helping create a safe, inclusive, and joyful experience for all.

Whether you're looking to gain event experience, meet new people, or give back to the community, volunteering is a great way to be part of one of Canberra’s most loved events.

This is your chance to be part of the team that brings this exciting three-day event to life from Friday 5 to Sunday 7 February 2027.

Volunteer applications will open later in the year.
